Hyderabad, May 30 (UNI) Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar today accused Former Chief Minister and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu of amassing wealth to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore by indulging in corrupt practices during his nine-year tenure as the Chief Minister.

In an open letter to Mr Naidu, a copy of which was released to the media here, the Congress MP said a portal had found Mr Naidu, who started his political career with two acres of land, had amassed Rs 3,000 crore.

''It is funny Mr Naidu, who is the epitome of corruption, is talking on the top of his voice about corruption at his party's Mahanadu,' which concluded at Tirupati yesterday,'' he said.

Mr Kumar said scams involving Rs 12,100 crore had occurred during Mr Naidu's regime including scholarships, Chief Minister's Relief Fund and sale of government lands.

While Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ordered inquiry into every allegation levelled against his government, the TDP supremo had not ordered any into those made against him.

Instead, the MP said, Mr Naidu obtained a stay when the ACB filed a case against him for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Similarly, in the liquor scam when the ACB wanted to file an FIR, the move was blocked by Mr Naidu, Mr Kumar claimed.
