Case against ex-Indian volleyball skipper in AP
Hyderabad, May 30 (UNI) The city police today registered a case against former Indian Volleyball team captain Ravikanth Reddy on a complaint from the daughter of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao.
Police said a case was registered against Reddy after Vijayalaxmi, daughter of the APCC chief, complained that the former created nuisance at their house by organising a dharna along with his associates and did not allow them to come out of the house.
It may be recalled that the APCC chief's son Venkat had surrendered before a city court yesterday after Reddy lodged a complaint against him for allegedly assaulting him on May 28 night over a land dispute. At present, Reddy was admitted to a hospital and undergoing treatment.
Reddy owned an acre of land at Rachlur village in Ranga Reddy district, which was disputed.
