Autonomous body to ensure quality of roads, buildings
Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, May 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister Jeevan Reddy today disclosed that an autonomous body would be constituted to ensure quality of public roads and buildings in the state.
Speaking to presspersons here, he said the persons who were not associated with the Roads and Buildings Department would be nominated as members of the body.
Answering a spate of questions on quality, Mr Reddy said an internal quality control machinery was already in place and about 250 engineers have been facing charges of dereliction of duty.
