Arjun Singh in TN capital, triggers speculation on Prez poll
Chennai, May 30 (UNI) Union Human Resources Minister Arjun Singh, believed to be in race for the President's office, today made a sudden visit to the city.
Mr Singh's visit triggered speculation that he had come down to to strengthen his case in the run up to the coming Presidential election.
A few senior journalists called on Mr Singh, who was staying at the Raj Bhavan. However, details were not immediately know.
Sources said Mr Singh arrived here to receive Gandhian Award presented by the Raja Annamalai Mandram. He is likely to leave for Delhi tomorrow morning.
