AICC General Secretary turns 60

Puducherry, May 30 (UNI) The 60th birthday of AICC General Secretary V Narayanasamy MP, was celebrated here today.

Blood donation, pulling the golden chariot at the Manakkula Vinayagar Temple here, special poojas and poor feeding marked the celebrations.

Mr Narayansamy, however, had left for Moogambikai to offer worship along with his family members.

President APJ Abdul Kalam, Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, AICC President Sonia Gandhi, Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy and PCC President P Shanmugham were among those who greeted Mr Narayanasamy over the phone on the occasion.
