3 get life term for abducting NH General Manager

Hajipur, May 30 (UNI) A fast track court has awarded life imprisionment to three persons in connection with a high profile kidnapping case in Bihar.

The convicts were also slapped with a fine of Rs five thousand each.

Judge Panchanan Sharma found the three guilty of kidnapping National Highway General Manager T Mandal and executive engineer Kamlesh Kumar on November 19, 2004 near Patedha Vithauli village under Bhagwanpur police station in Vaishali district.

Meanwhile, the court exonerated three others in want of evidences in the same case.
