Trade worth Rs 2,044 crore transacted on NCDEX

Mumbai, May 29 (UNI) As many as 2,975 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) today participated in trades worth Rs 2,044 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs.

There were more than 69,847 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, guarseeds, chana, soya oil and gold, an NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, 560 members had participated in trading and put through more than 86,353 trades. The trade volume for the whole day till 2330 hrs was Rs 2,604 crore (one way).

Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, guarseeds, chana and soya oil among others, the release added.
