Shettigar brought back to head BJP Economic Cell

New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) Mr Jagadish Shettigar and Mr Nalin Kohli have been brought back as heads of BJP's economic and media cells while retired diplomat S K Arora has been retained as the head of the External Affairs Cell in a major reshuffle in the party organisation today.

Lt Gen N S Mallick has been retained as head of Defence Cell while Mr Amitabha Sinha will lead the Intellectual Cell of the party. He was the head of the Media Cell in the previous dispensations. Outgoing BJP Media Cell incharge Sidharthnath Singh has been made Coordinator of party affairs in Nagaland to assist Mr Jual Oram, the party Incharge (Prabhari)for the northeastern state.

The reshuffle was effected by party president Rajnath Singh.

Former Union Minister Sumitra Mahajan has been given charge as Incharge (Prabhari) of Mahila Morcha while former Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Najma Heptulla will head the Minority Morcha. Mr Indrasen Reddy has been made Incharge of Kisan Morcha while Mr Kailash Meghawal will lead S C Morcha. Mr Devdas Apte has been made Incharge of ST Morcha.
