Pay power bills at post offices
Bhopal, May 29 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Central Region Power Distribution Company will accept bill payments through 800 post offices in eight districts of Bhopal and Hoshangabad divisions, Chairman-cum-Managing Director Sanjay Shukla said here today.
''This will be in addition to the existing system. The Company and the Madhya Pradesh Circle's Chief Postmaster-General Madhu Narayan approved the new system, in principle, and it may be implemented next month,'' he added.
Postmen would distribute bills in urban and rural areas. Such a system is already in place for customers in Indore and Jabalpur divisions that come under the Western and Eastern Region companies respectively.
