Opium haul

Neemuch, MP, May 29 (UNI) A Central Bureau of Narcotics team from here has seized 50 kg of opium concealed at a farmer's house at Sirsi village in neighbouring Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district.

''Following a tip-off, the sleuths searched the house of Nandlal Dhakad,'' Madhya Pradesh Narcotics Department Deputy Commissioner G P Chandoliya said today. The peasant had a license to cultivate opium under Chittorgarh Division 3. Dhakad was arrested and was being interrogated.

Three kg opium were seized from Gheesalal Dhakad who was arrested on Malkheda Road last night.
