Now grab jobs through social networking
New Delhi, May 29: After bringing people from far and wide in close contact, now a San Francisco-based social networking company has designed an innovative software to hunt skilled labour in India.
Besides, if the sofware company hires a candidate that was referred, the member who made the referral is allocated a reward money of Rs 10,000.
This company, however, does not demand any registration money from the candidates.
The software company techTribe also gives Rs 2,000 cash money to its members (tribers) for making the people join the techTribe network community.
Under the novel design known as frontFoot, the software company provides for jobs in various sectors, including IT, outsourcing and financial services.
The software company has already inked deal with enterprises like iGate, Morgan Stanley and Genpact which will post high-paying job opportunities on techTribe.
"There is a huge market in India for the use of social networking to provide specific tangible value. Referral recruiting is a perfect example of how the principle of social networking can be applied to solve the recruiting challenge, providing benefits to all parties involved," company"s founder and Chairman Rohit Agrawal said.
The innovation by techTribe will have a great impact on the Indian recruiting market, which is still using a decade old technology to solve today"s needs, Mr Agrawal said.
The minimum criteria for any candidate to get apply for a job in this career networking network is that the person should have annual salary of eight to 10 lakh.
Frontfoot is one-of-its-kind and the first referrel recruiting service in the world. It is uniquely suited for the market in this country, and designed so that the recruiting managers gets highly-qualified candidates, and the triber is not harassed by unwanted job opportunities.
The triber making the referral is well qualified to judge the candidate against the job opportunity because they either know the candidate, requirements of the position or both.
The recruiting manager gets candidates that are well qualified based on their complete identity and brand of techTribe, rather than the simple automated skills match offered by the most job portals.
The recruiting manager can compare candidates based on several criteria, including the track record and quality of the triber making the referral, as well as their relationship with the candidate.
The frontFoot process prevents spam and bad referrals based on a patent-pending process that enables the candidates to approve each frontFoot referral before their details are sent to the recruiting manager and also ensures that the referring triber"s referral track record is taken into account by the recruiting manager when evaluating candidates.
