Koda's tenure as CM satisfactory:Tariq

Daltonganj, May 29 (UNI) Expressing satisfaction over the seven month tenure of the UPA backed Madhu Koda of Jharkhand, national General secretary of Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) Tariq Anwar today said that a year's time should be given to evaluate the achievements of any government.

Talking to reporters here Mr Anwar said the state government would definitely fulfil the people's expectation as the government was working with coordination.

Mr Anwar, who came to address election rallies in favour of NCP candidate from Daltonganj assembly seat, said mass base of the party had increased in the area and even minority voters were looking at the NCP as an alternative.

He said no developmental work had been done in the last 25 years in the area and youths had to go to other areas for employement.

To a query he said coalition with the UPA was at central level only.

The by-election to the seat was necessitated after former Speaker Inder Singh Namdhari resigned from Daltonganj.
