Journalist Shahid Mirza dead

Indore, May 29 (UNI) The Malwa region's senior journalist and Jodhpur's daily 'Rajasthan Patrika' Assistant Editor Shahid Mirza has passed away at a hospital in Jaipur after brief illness.

He was 52.

The end came last night. Mr Mirza is survived by his mother, a sister, brothers, wife and two sons. He was suffering from liver and kidney disorders. The last rites would be performed at the local Azad Nagar graveyard tonight.

Mr Mirza began his journalistic career with the 'Naidunia', Indore, and was associated with the 'Navbharat Times' and 'Dainik Bhaskar' group.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condoled the demise.
