Govt staff demand early implementation of Pay Commission report

Bangalore, May 29 (UNI) Karnataka State Government Employees' Association President L Bairappa today urged the State Government to immediately implement the pay revisions as per the Fifth Pay Commission final report to avoid extra burden on the exchequer.

Speaking to reporters here, he said the Association welcomed the recommendations of the second Cabinet report regarding hike in Dearness Allowance and other allowances.

He urged the Government to stop unnecessary transfer of employees during this time of the year as their children would have to seek admissions in schools and colleges.
