Hyderabad, May 29 (UNI) A three-member Fact-Finding Committee, constituted by the APCC to probe the death of two farmers in Krishna district during land occupation agitation launched by the Left parties, today recommended the State Government to take stern action against the Left leaders responsible.

According to a party release here, the Committee visited Mylavaram village and met the families of N Chitti Babu, who died of heart attack, and B Koteswar Reddy, who committed suicide after Left parties allegedly occupied his lands.

The Committee suggested that the Government register cases against the Left leaders and arrest those responsible for the death of the two farmers, besides recovering the occupied lands from the Left parties and distributing them back to the farmers.

Urging the Government to bring the issue to the notice of the Central Committees of CPI and CPI(M), the Committee said the Left parties were creating law and order problem in the villages by occupying agricultural lands belonging to small and marginal farmers.
