Court directs CID to submit report on murder investigation

Shillong, May 29 (UNI) A division bench of Gauhati High Court here today directed the Criminal Investigation Department to submit its report into the case of alleged murder of a female domestic help at the residence of former Director General of Police.

The notice issued by the bench comprising Justice H N Sarma and B P Katakey after the case was heard for the second time today.

Local advocate A H Hazarika has filed a Public Interest Litigation into the mysterious death of the domestic help, Rinnehskhem Kharshohnoh (26) on March 17 at the residence of the then DGP William Richmond Merbaniang.

The court ordered the CID to file an affidavit within three-days.
