Ullal, Karnataka, May 29 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today asked the Congress to stop blindly criticising him and his father and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, and instead highlight to the people if it had achieved 'anything' during its long rule in the State.

Speaking to the voters of Ullal on the outskirts of the city as part of the JD(S)' election campaign for the June 2 bypolls, he said the Congress, devoid of any issue, including its own achievements, was repeatedly criticising the JD(S) and its leaders.

Addressing street corner meetings, Mr Kumaraswamy said that during the past over 30 years, the Congress could not bring any development to Ullal. ''If you support my party in this election, we can usher in development within three months,'' he claimed.

He charged both the Congress and the BJP with wooing the voters on religious and caste basis. The Congress was using the minority as its vote bank, he alleged.
