Canara Bank net up 10.79%

New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) Canara Bank today said its net profit rose by 10.79 per cent to Rs 1,528.3 crore for the year ended Mar 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1,379.4 crore in the last fiscal on consolidated basis.

Total income of the bank increased by 28.36 per cent to Rs 13,033.7 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 from Rs 10,154.2 crore for the year ended March 2006, it said in a statement.
