Around 500 fever-affected people admitted to hospitals

Alappuzha, Kerala, May 29 (UNI) Around 500 people suffering from fever were admitted to various hospitals in the district, according to the District Medical Officer (DMO).

Most of the cases were reported from Cherthala and Pulinkunnu in Kuttanad Taluk, DMO N Murali said.

All precautionary steps had been taken. The National Rural Health Mission had allotted Rs two lakh for the purpose, Dr Murali added.
