Andhra Bank relaunches "Kiddy Bank" account
Hyderabad, May 29 (UNI) Andhra Bank today relaunched "Kiddy-Bank" account facility for children with certain value added features.
Launching the facility here, Andhra Bank Chairman and Managing Director K Ramakrishnan said the bank would inculcate savings habit among the children at an early age and the value of money in them.
Stating that the "Kiddy Bank" account would have the option of offering insurance coverage to the child at a minimal cost, he said the bank would organise a massive campaign in schools to educate the children about the importance of saving money.
The bank had entered into a tie-up with UTI Mutual fund to provide "UTI Children Growth Fund" for the Kiddy Bank account holders, Mr Ramakrishnan added.
