Bihar: Acid thrown on CM's securityman

Patna, May 29: A police inspector attached to the chief minister's security squad sustained severe burns when a miscreant threw acid on his face late last night, police said.

One person was arrested. He admitted his involvement in the crime. Injured inspector N K Rajak was admitted in hospital, police said.

A case of mistaken identity was stated to be the cause of the attack, according to the confessional statement of the arrested person.
