About 1 lakh candidates to appear in DET

Chandigarh, May 29 (UNI) About one lakh candidates will appear in the Diploma Entrance Test (DET)-2007 scheduled to be held on June two for addmission to various polytechnics in Haryana.

A spokesman for the Technical Education Department said that the roll numbers and centres of examinations had been displayed in all the Polytechnics where application forms were depoisted by the candidates and the same were also available on the department's website www.techeduhry.nic.in.

He said that in case of any difficulty, the candidates could contact the concerned Principal of the Polytechnic. About 20,000 seats in more than 30 discplines at over 50 Polytechnics are likely to be filled up through this entrance test.
