Two persons seriously injured in bio-gas explosion

Kolhapur, May 28 (UNI) Two persons were seriously injured when a bio-gas plant exploded at Varange-Padalee villge in Karvir tehsil here today.

The explosion occurred when the injured persons - Manu Mansingh Chavan (58) and his brother Raju (35), hailing from Karnataka - were cleaning the tank using a candle to illuminate it, police said.

The duo sustained severe burn injuries and have been admitted to Chhatrapati Padmaraje civil hospital here, sources added.
