Two held with 28 kg poppy husk

Jalandhar, May 28 (UNI) Police have arrested two persons and seized nearly 28 kg of poppy husk from their possession in different cases in the district today.

According to information one Makhan Ram was arrested by the Bilga Police station when he was waiting for the customers and recovered 24 kg of poppy husk from his possession.

In another case, Adampur police arrested Kashmir Chand and recovered four kg of poppy husk from his possession.

Both the accused were booked under section 15-61-85 of the NDPS Act and further investigations were on.
