Two brothers swept away in Sone river

Arra, May 28 (UNI) Two brothers drowned in River Sone at Koelwar in Bhojpur district today.

Police said the incident took place when Vikash and Ravi were playing on the river bank and tried to fetch their ball, which had accidentally fallen into the water.

''In his attempt to retrieve the ball, Vikash moved far into the river and was caught in the current following which Ravi rushed to rescue him,'' police said, adding that both the boys were swept away.

The body of Vikash had been fished out while divers were pressed into service to fish out the other body.
