TDP to elect President tomorrow

Tirupati, May 28 (UNI) The Convenor of the Telugu Desam Party organisational election committee E Peddi Reddy today announced the notification to elect the party President tomorrow.

However, former Chief Minister and incumbent President N Chandrababu Naidu is likely to be re-elected unanimously for the post.

Mr Reddy said that party organisational elections were already held at village, mandal and district levels and their leaders elected.

As many as 44 lakh persons having membership were issued identity cards for elections. TDP was the only political party which had issued identity cards to the party members transperantly, he claimed.

However, no nomination was filed for the President post.
