Tirupati, May 28: Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu today paid rich tributes to late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and party Founder N T Rama Rao on his 85th birth anniversary.

Mr Naidu garlanded the statue of NTR near the City Club Circle in this temple town and cut a cake at the TTD-run deaf and dumb school near Alipiri. He distributed cake, fruits and clothes to the school children.

To mark the occasion, a large number of TTD activists donated blood at a camp organised at the party Mahanadu (conference) venue.

Nataraju, a party worker from Mahabubnagar, also donated blood as he had been doing for the last 20 years.

Later, the second day of the Mahanadu began with the cutting of a huge cake to mark the occasion.
