State BJP Chief rediculed JD(S) minister's remark

Mangalore, May 28 (UNI) The BJP state uni president D V Sadananda Gowda has said that the statement of JD(S) Minister Mr Iqbal Ansari that 30 BJP MLAs were in favour of continuation of H D Kumaraswamy as the Chief Minister of the state has no any relevance which was already disputed by Chief Minister himself.

Addressing newsmen here today Mr Sadananda Gowda said that the statement made by State Labor minister Mr Iqbal Ansari was ridiculous and should not attact any importance to it.

Terming the statement made by Mr Ansari that about 30 MLAs belonging BJP were in favour of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy continuing in office as a mischief Mr Gowda dared the former to disclose the names.

Charging that JD(S) minister was behaving like agent of Congress Mr Gowda agreed that it had created some disturbances in the BJP circle. "Behind the statement of JD(S) minister there is a conspiracy to create confusion and devide the BJP" Mr Gowda said and demanded Mr Ansari to made public the names of those BJP ministers who wants Mr Kumaraswamy to continue even after completion of 20-months period.

Mr Gowda also informed that over the statement of JD(S) minister he had contacted both Chief Minister Mr H D Kumaraswamy and Home Minister M P Prakash, and both the leaders refuted Mr Ansari's statement and requested not to give any credence to it.

The state BJP chief also informed that the central party leaders have already made it clear that after completion of 20-month term of coalition government the mantle of chief ministership will goes to Deputy Chief Minister Mr B S Yediyurappa. "There is no any differences persists within the party against the candidature of Yediyurappa" he said.
