Shops closed down at Imphal

Imphal, May 28 (UNI) All shops at the Paona International market, Paona Bazar, one of the main markets at Imphal, were closed down today after an alleged militant group reportedly demanded money from the shops.

The Paona International market, which deals in foreign goods, attracts lots of visitors every day.

Due to the closure of the shops, normal business activities in the market were affected, official sources informed.
