Reddy assumes office as Telangana Development Board Chairman

Hyderabad, May 28 (UNI) Senior Congress member and former Minister Uppunuthala Purushothama Reddy today assumed office as the Chairman of the Telangana Regional Development Board.

The function, was attended by PCC President K Keshava Rao, Government Advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao, several Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other officials.

Though Purushothama Reddy expected a place in the state Cabinet, he accepted the post offered to him.

Speaking on the occasion, HE said he would work for the development of the Telangana region and implement the G O 610, stipulating the repatriation of employees of other regions working in Telangana to their respective areas.
