Pillai new CMD of HEC

Ranchi, May 28 (UNI) G K Pillai has been appointed as the new Chairman cum Managing Director of Heavy Engineering Corporation at its headquarter today.

Mr Pillai succeeded Shubhedu Biswas, who retired recently.

An engineering graduate from BITS Pilani, Mr Pillai had worked as the Chief Executive at US joint venture companies like Fisher Sanmar and Tyco Sanmar Limited.

He had also served Instrumentations Limited, Palakkad, for about 21 years in various capacities.
