One constable killed,another injured in separate naxalite incidents

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, May 28 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) constable was today killed after naxals ambushed a police-CRPF patrol near Bijapur district's Hedkameta village this evening, police aid quoting preliminary reports.

An additional force rushed to the spot.

The deceased was yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, a police constable was injured during an encounter with naxals near Bijapur district's Nagoor village today, police said.

The rebels ambushed a team from Bedre Police Station and the personnel returned fire.

Constable Yograj Sharma was hospitalised following the incident.
