No one from Banaskantha appears before Nanavati Comm
Ahmedabad, May 28 (UNI) None of the riot-affected persons from Banaskantha district today appeared before the Nanavati-Shah Commission, probing the 2002 Gujarat riots, to depose.
The Commission had fixed a public hearing for the riot-affected persons from Banaskantha today. However, nobody turned up before the Commission.
The Commission, after recording today's proceedings, has kept a public hearing for the affected persons from Sabarkantha district tomorrow.
It had already completed the public hearing of riot-affected persons from Vadodara rural, Chhota Udaipur, Anand and Kheda in the first week of this month.
