Maximum complaints against telcos ring into NCH
New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) The largest number of complaints received by the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) during April were against telecom companies to the tune of 621 calls.
The complaints were related to issues like delay in activation, unsolicited calls, excess billing, poor network coverage and false promises, an official statement said here today.
Only MTNL, Idea and Tata Teleservices have been updating NCH on the complaints sent to them. NCH said talks are on with VSNL and Reliance to have a voluntary mechanism of forwarding complaints and receiving feedback from the companies.
The NCH is available at the toll-free-no 1800-1-4000.
