Jaipur, May 28 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal has expressed his dissatisfaction over Bangladesh Government's attitude towards ULFA training camps reportedly being run from the neighbouring country's soil.

Talking to reporters here today Mr Jaiswal said that reports received from time to time suggested operations of ULFA training camps in some parts of Bangladesh and the Indian Government and its concerned agencies had constantly been keeping its counterparts in the neighbouring country, in touch in this regard.

''Sometime we feel that the Bangladesh Government has been taking prompt action on our feedback but sometimes we feel that the system and mechanism supposed to take action in this regard is losing strength in that country'', he said.

However, Mr Jaiswal expressed satisfaction over improvement of overall law and order situation in Asom and said that the efforts being taken by the Centre, military and central para military forces had succeeded in winning the hearts of people of Asom.

He also accepted that the incidents of violence by ULFA had not ceased and said that after losing sympathy of people of the state ULFA activists were now targetting migrant groups.

However, the military and other central para military forces were prepared to face the situation and safeguard the lives and property of the people.

Mr Jaiswal expressed his satisfaction over general improvement of situation in the North Eastern region and said that five of the seven states were peaceful. He also commended the state and central machineries for holding assembly elections in Manipur peacefully and smoothly.

However, in Nagaland frequent incidents of racial clashes were reported and the Centre was continuing in its efforts at reaching a peaceful settlement through dialogue.
