Moscow, May 28 (UNI) Russia today expressed its disappointment at the Iranian attitude to its nuclear programme and asked it to revise its position to resolve the long-running issue.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak said a report by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Mohamed ElBaradei on the Iranian nuclear programme showed that Tehran was not complying with IAEA Board of Governors and UN Security Council resolutions.

''The report stated Iran's failure to fulfil resolutions of the IAEA Board of Governors and the Security Council. This is the most important conclusion of the report,'' Mr Kislyak told Interfax news agency, while commenting on ElBaradei's recent report on the Iranian nuclear problem.

''We are greatly disappointed with the position of Iran,'' he said adding, ''We expect Tehran to revise its position.'' UNI
