Intex to invest in green energy

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) Divesifying into green energy sector, IT hardware and electronics company, Intex Technologies Ltd said it will invest in two wind mills of 600 KW each at Tenkasi, Tamilnadu.

Both the mills are expected to generate approximately 28 lakh electricity units annually which will be supplied to the Tamilnadu State Electricity Board as per power purchase agreement signed for a duration of 20 years a release said.

VESTAS RRB, Indian arm of the world's largest manufacturer of wind turbines-VESTAS, has supplied, installed and commissioned the wind mills.

The company has invested six crore rupees on this project, the release added.
