Jakarta, May 28: Indonesian rescue officials are searching for 11 people missing after a fishing boat was engulfed by six metre waves off the north coast of Java islands late last week, police said today.
Asep Suherman, a police official in the West Javan coastal town of Indramayu, said by telephone two survivors had been found after the boat was swamped by waves on Thursday 40 km from the town.
The official said a search was continuing.
