Guledgudd record 10 cm rain in the State
Bangalore, May 28 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over the State.
Heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Guledgudd 10, Bangarpet 7.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Tavaregere 4, Panambur, Badami 3 each, Bevoor, Badami, K R Sagara, Yegati, Chitradurga 2 each, Mulki, Puttur, Kerur, Hungund, Lingasugur, Pavgada, Bangalore City, Balehonnur, Thondebhavi 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka, above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and remained normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 41.2 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka, at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, at a few places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Bagalkote districts of North Interior Karnataka.
Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 30 degree celsius.
