Fire breaks out in bungalows

Kolhapur, May 28 (UNI) A fire broke out at village Padal in Panhala tehsil of this district today, destroying considerable property in two bungalows.

The fire broke out at the houses of Mahadev Amrut Kumbhar and his brother Krushnat around noon, fire-brigade and police sources said.

The fire gutted the two storey buildings in which wooden materials, TV sets, washing machine, clothes and other materials were reduced to ashes, the sources said.

Fire engines from Kolhapur Municipal corporation(KMC) and nearby places brought the flames under control, the sources said adding the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.

No one was injured, the sources added.
