Delhi to get deemed University

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) A Karnataka-based education foundation will set up a deemed university in Delhi to meet the growing demand for seats in professional courses.

Mr Srinivas Rao, Vice Chairman Srinivas Group of Education Institute, said the foundation will invest Rs 100 crore to set up a campus, over 60 hectare land, in the next four years.

It will tie up with foreign universities for curriculum development and exchange programme.

He said the institute will set up examination centre here for conducting entrance tst for admission in 13 professional colleges at Mangalore from next academic year.
