Chandrajeet Yadav cremated

Azamgarh, May 28 (UNI) Former Union Minister Chandrajeet Yadav was cremated this afternoon near Tamsa river here.

Mr Yadav breathed his last on May 25 at Delhi's All India Institiute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following protracted illness.

Former chief minister Ramnaresh Yadav, Congress MP and personal secretary to party president Sonia Gandhi, J D Selam, SP minister Balram Yadav, MP Ramakant Yadav, UP minister of state for finance Vidya Chaudhary paid their tributes to the departed soul. Besides, various MLAs attended the funeral.

Former UP chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav condoled the leader's death and recalled his contribution to the welfare of people.
