Centre asks Punjab Government to find amicable solution to Dera tiff
Jaipur, May 28 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal today asked Punjab Government to find amicable solution to the Dera Sacha Sauda issud through dialogue.
Talking to reporters here today, Mr Jaiswal said that the entire situation was ''unfortunate'' and such situation demanded ''a sensitive and high tolerance attitude from all concerned.
He said that the Punjab Government should invite all parties concerned for a dialogue to find a acceptable solution to the dispute.
''Clash or confrontation can not be a solution to such disputes'', Mr Jaiswal added.' Over the Centre's role on such issues, the minister said that his ministry had passed timely intelligence feedback about possible reaction and fallout of the row, in some parts of neighbouring states including Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. State governments in these states had taken appropriate measures to deal with the situation, he noted.
