Cabana group joins hand with Best Western
Mumbai, May 28 (UNI) Best Western International, world's largest hotel chain, and Cabana Group of India here today announced their joint foray into hotel management services.
Through this partnership, the Cabana Hotel Pvt Ltd is planning to invest more than USD 1.2 billion within a span of 7-9 year for licensing, developing and managing Best Western-branded hotels in India.
"The group plans to convert hotels and render the Best Western brand 3.5 and 4 star level in different major and two-tier cities," Co-chairman of Cabana hotel management Dr Prabhu Goel said while addressing the media.
Elaborating the plans, he said that besides developing its own properties for Best Western in India, the group will also brand over 100 hotels and 10,000 rooms.
Further, becoming the Master Licensee of Best Western in India the group is aslo investing USD 60 million for developing Best Western branded hotels in six cities- Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore, Ooty, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari and Jaisalmer, which will be completed with in two years.
"Cabana is also setting up a hotel management institute in Bhubaneshwar, the foundation for which will be laid within few days," Dr Goel added.
