Uttar Pradesh: Boy dies after drowning in pond

Mubarakpur (Uttar Pradesh), May 28: A teenager died today after he got drowned while playing in a pond here near Nangloi.

Two boys Rahul (17) and Amit (15) were playing at the village pond when both of them got drowned, police said.

Later people pulled out the two and rushed them to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rohini where Rahul was declared 'brought dead'.

Amit managed to survive and was discharged after first aid, the police added.
