Bomb scare in Dum Dum Metro

Kolkata, May 28 (UNI) A bomb scare affected rail traffic at the Dum Dum Metro station here today.

Government Railway Police (GRP) officials noticed an unclaimed tiffin box on the chairs of Platform No. two around 12 noon.

GRP sources informed UNI that the bomb scare was warded off within minutes after the bomb squad of Sinthi Police station came in and opened the box only to find it empty.
