WB: Hoax bomb scare in Dum Dum Metro

Kolkata, May 28: A bomb-scare jolted metro movement in the Dum Dum Metro station here today.

The scare was caused when Government Railway Police(GRP) officials noticed an unclaimed tiffin box on the chairs of Platform No. two around 12 noon.

GRP sources informed UNI that the bomb scare was warded off within minutes after the bomb squad of Sinthi Police station came in and opened the box only to find it empty.
