BJP betraying faith of people: CM
Shimla, May 28 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today criticised the BJP and alleged that it had betrayed the faith of the people when the party was given an opportunity to rule the state from 1998 to February 2003.
Addressing election meetings at Jwalamukhi and Pragpur assembly segments he said the BJP tried to divide the state in the name of region to achieve its own ulterior motives but the people of the state rejected all its appeals and voted the BJP out of power.
He outlined the achivements of his government and asked the electorate to vote for the Congress candidate in the Hamirpur Lok Sabha byelection.
