Amarinder appears before Vigilance Bureau team

Patiala, May 28: Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today appeared before the Vigilance Bureau sleuths here in connection with Ludhiana City Centre scam.

Capt Singh was accompanied by his wife Perneet Kaur, MP, and brother Malwinder Singh.

A five-member vigilance team, comprising a DIG, three SPs and an inspector, began questioning Capt Amarinder Singh from 1000 hours at the Circuit House in the Baradari Gardens which was cordoned off by police.

The questioning by the Vigilance team was still in progress.
