Airtel offers voice chat service on fixed-lines

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services (B&TS) today unveiled the voice chat service on Airtel fixed-lines, providing an innovative service offerings to its customers.

The service is available at a monthly rental of Rs 30 per month and a nominal call charge of Rs three per minute.

Voice chat on fixedlines will enable customers to talk or chat anonymously with other Airtel mobile and land-line customers, across the country.

''This service will take the telephone beyond ordinary voice calling and will enable our customers to search in a secure and anonymous manner, thereby providing a more interesting medium for internet chatting service,'' Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services's President Atul Bindal said.

The cellular company has an introductory offer of no monthly rental till June 30.
